This is the website of the phlox research group. (In case you are wondering: ‘phlox’ is a fancy acronym for ‘philosophy and logic of explanation’; incidentally, it also means ‘flame’ in ancient greek.) Our group is funded by the German Research Council (DFG) under the Emmy Noether Programme and hosted by the Philosophy Department at Humboldt University in Berlin. On these pages you will find information about our research project, the people involved and our current activities. You can download some of our papers or take a look at our blog. Comments on either are always very welcome!
